Data-Driven Marketing

The Marketing Engineer will play a pivotal role in optimizing our marketing efforts through effective tag management and data collection strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing technologies, analytics, and the ability to harness data to drive marketing decisions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Tag Management: Implement, manage, and optimize tagging solutions using tools like Google Tag Manager, Tealium, or Ensighten to ensure accurate data collection across all digital platforms.
  • Data Collection Strategy: Design and maintain a robust data collection strategy to gather actionable insights from various digital touchpoints.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, IT, and product teams to ensure seamless data collection and integration.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Regularly audit and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
  • Technical Marketing Content Creation: Develop documentation and guides related to tag implementation, data collection best practices, and analytics insights.
  • Training: Provide training to marketing and other relevant teams on tag management tools and data collection techniques.
  • Market Analysis: Use collected data to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Feedback Loop: Collaborate with stakeholders to refine data collection methods based on evolving business needs and market trends.

Your Profile

  • Experience with web analytics tools like Google Marketing Platform, Tealium, or Adobe Experience Cloud.
  • Familiarity with CRM, CMP, and CDP systems.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in tag management and data collection in a digital marketing context.
  • Proficiency in tag management systems like Google Tag Manager, Tealium, or Ensighten.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics, tracking technologies, and data integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
